What to expect when you come to Hampstead Dental.
Who will I see?
When you walk in, you will be greeted by our friendly reception who will ask you for your healthcare card, and then seat you in our comfortable waiting area. We offer complimentary tea and coffee and comfortable couches to relax in. You will then be taken into one of our clinical rooms and discuss your goals and aspirations for your teeth with one of our team members.
Our team at Hampstead Dental we have both male and female skilled dental practitioners, which combined, have over 100+ years of experience. They are skilled with diagnosing sensitive teeth, wisdom teeth, providing dental cleaning, emergencies and much much more! With modern techniques of anaesthetic as well as the option of nitrous gas we will ensure that you feel relaxed throughout the process. Alongside our dentists is our wonderful team of Oral Health Therapists. Our dental therapists are uniquely and specially trained in the maintenance of children’s teeth as well as adult teeth and gums.
You will have a full comprehensive examination which includes: a dental assessment, soft tissue check, jaw and wisdom teeth assessment, periodontal assessment, unlimited x-rays, professional clean, polish and a fluoride treatment.
What happens then?
After your initial comprehensive examination your dental professional will customise a dental treatment plan for your teeth, which may include one or more appointments that you can schedule with one of our friendly reception staff.
We offer flexible times to fit your schedule. With our opening hours of 8:30am-5:30pm you could come in to see us before or after work. Or you may prefer to pop in during your lunch break especially if working flexible hours or from home. We also have Saturday appointments available for your convenience, but as these are a very popular choice for many patients we recommend that you book in advance.
How much does it cost?
At Hampstead Dental we offer NO GAP for all general check-up and clean appointments. Just bring your health- fund card with you to your appointment and there will be no out of pocket costs. For other general dental treatments, we offer Same-day claims so you will only have pay the gap on the day. Check with your health insurance to see what level of dental cover you have and need.
